Three ways to describe Mark: Committed to Christ. Devoted to the Church. Passionate about reaching people for Christ. What he's good at: Mark combines a business background with the Word of God and sees his role as a catalyst for Christ for change. His unique speaking style combines Bible teaching, personal experience, provocative insight, and a lively sense of humor. It creates a setting where people of any age or ethnicity can begin to figure out what's next on their spiritual journey. Where we found him: He found us, and we found him, through Transformation Ministries. Mark has a heart for CBC to have an impact for Jesus in our local community and around the world. While CBC started in a Fallbrook living room some 50 years ago, we've grown to a church of families and kids meeting every weekend. Other stuff he's done along the way: a. He's co-writing a book about the power of "I Am: Our New Identity in Christ". b. Served as a pastor at FBC Covina, Ojai and Big Bear as a catalyst for change. c. Served for 25 years in business in various roles revolving around business administration and marketing for computer software and graphic arts companies. d. Taught at Azusa Pacific University teaching Christian Ethics and Worldview integration for business and computer students. e. Surfed in Fiji, helicopter skied in Alaska, and won a date on the Dating Game. One other cool thing he does: Shares what he's learned, coaching church leaders on leading through healthy change, so together we call all be even better at having an impact for Jesus in our local communities and around the world. What he's earned besides influence and respect: His B.A. and M.B.A. in Business Administration at California State Polytechnic University at Pomona, and a Masters of Divinity from Azusa Pacific University, California. His other passions: His wife, Vikki, their daughter Melynee, and sons Scott, Derek and Greg, and two incredible daughter in laws and granddaughter Ayda. And surfing at any beach in California...in that order.

On behalf of the members of Community Baptist Church, we warmly invite you to come and worship with us.  Our Sunday morning Worship Service begins at 10:00 a.m.  We have a wonderful children's church ministry during the worship service.  

Following worship we gather for a time of refreshment and fellowship.  We hold communion on the first Sunday of the month.

Our worship is family-oriented, with a blend of both traditional and contemporary styles.
